Mental Healthcare
Mental health is an issue that most of us have some type of experience with. If it’s not us personally, it’s somebody that we care about. Mental health can range from just having a low day, just having a little anxiety before a test, or it can go all the way to dysfunction or needing to be hospitalized because we want to hurt ourselves. There’s a huge range and there’s a lot of stigma that still exists about mental health and we get to talk about it. Most practitioners often look at it as just a medication or just therapy, but to me it’s about a lot of things that we do, how we think, about how we eat, and the emotions we have gone through and sometimes just simply being acknowledged and being treated like a person can help us heal. I had a lot of experience in 20 years working with anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Sometimes the medications will help but it doesn’t take care of all of the problems and that’s where integrating different features, whether it be supplements to assist, whether it be thought processes, or whether it’s just somebody who understands.
